Hey Shinester! I just watched the movie...not too bad. I totally agree with you on the hair thing. Poor Peeta. I think the movie could have gone a bit more in depth on the characters personalities instead of all the screen shots of panem. (yawn)But some of the scenes where literally painted out of my imagination. I was yelling at the TV like, "ohmygosh that is just like I thought it would be!!!" So, all in all, not a bad movie. But...is it just me, or are they going to run into some trouble since the omitted the whole Peeta-leg thing...
They're definatly going to run into a problem with that non-busted leg part. I'd like to see what the work out with all of the changes and modifications they did. Haymitch isn't a blonde!! O_o
Did you jump at that part with the dogs??? My sister did, so did everyone in the theater (lol) another thing they changed. I enjoyed seeing the Game-Makers in their "natural habitat".
Effie scared me alittle but I think she was my favourite character :P Her or Haymitch.
Haymitch isn’t blonde!? I always pictured him blonde…Oops. I didn’t jump at the dogs, (er, if you can call them that. Mutant Ms. Piggy is more like it) but I just about died when the tracker jacks (?) were flying around, biting, buzzing, biting…sorry, I think I have a phobia. I liked Katness’s tribute clothes and her yellow-top-black-leggings outfit. Her boots are to die for!!! But the fire from the chariots? Ahhh! Were they going for ‘the girl who was CGI torched’? Not cool. I kind of felt sorry for Cato in the end too. Sad. And ok, did it look like Cinna was, like, hitting on Katness? Ewww. He did not play the ‘sympathetic friend’ very well.
What did you think of Peeta’s disguise? If you were bleeding to death, could you do that?
Wait... now I'm doubting my memory... :S I thought in the book Haymitch was from the Seam, and that he had dark hair and grey eyes? I'm not quite sure anymore. Uggh the mutts... Actually they sort of look like my dog, minus the pig nose of course. I expected the Tracker-Jackers to be bigger, but to tell you the truth, i'm glad they weren't, I'm so glad we don't have those flying around. Yes her outfits were super cool! And yes, except for the chariot, I mean they could have tried a little harder. I know, I really liked Cato, they should have made him more... not like able, sheesh I swear... Cinna... He did okay, I did notice his hitting, pretty hard. Stucks like straws :( I hope Sam Claflin does a good job as Finnick or I'm going to cry :'( (well maybe not but still ;) )
Eehh. I didn't like Peeta at all for this movie. It might be the actor, though.

Ok, so I’ve seen Sam Claflin in two other movies and he is a pretty good actor, and he is only two years older than his is supposed to be. I think he could pull it off.
Yeah, the romance was not the same as it was in the book. They both seemed like they were acting. (Which they were…) I think they will have to work on that in the next movie.
Or she will just run off with Cinna!
